A bad fit vs. A good fit: How To Spot The Difference

It’s easy to spot a bad fitted shirt once you know where to look. Puffy arms, collar too tight; the list can be made long. We’ll walk you through the signs of a poorly fitted shirt so you’ll know what to look out. Or you can make it easy for yourself and create your unique, custom-made shirt in minutes.

Telltales of a poorly fitting shirt:

- Fitting more than two fingers between your neck and the collar indicates that the shirt collar is too big.

- A lot of excessive fabric around the sleeves will make them look puffy, while a lack of it will cause the sleeves fitting too tightly (neither one a good look).

- Try lifting your arms up 45 degrees; if your shirt moves up more than an inch it’s a sign that the shoulder part is too tight .

Telltales of a perfect fitting shirt

- Does the shoulder seam meet the corner of your shoulder bone? Perfect, that means the shoulder part is well-fitted.

- The shirt cuff should end where your palm meets your wrist, about an inch from the wrist bone.

- The body of your shirt should end at the middle of your zipper.
